One person’s trash is an upcycler’s treasure trove!

Nothing is wasted when you see the potential! Our Makers & Shakers session sees upcycling at it’s finest! We have made dining room chairs into garden planters, decoupaged tables, revamped tatty bookcases giving them a fresh, modern look, learnt the DIY skills to assemble and paint bird boxes and even give 20 porch geese a makeover so they can be top of their flock!

Our session also includes planting for the Mencap garden which is a lovely outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. Items made in the session are sold at our fundraising events and you can also look out for them in our online shop which will be coming soon!
