Welcome to Braintree Mencap
Braintree District Mencap was formed in 1955 to help people with learning disabilities and their families. We have a wide membership throughout the Braintree District, we offer support and activities to adults who have a learning disability, as well as support for families.
We hold a variety of classes and activities throughout the week, as well as various other trips and events during the year.
Braintree District Mencap CIO is a registered Charity in the UK, Charity Number: 1192674. We are affiliated to Royal Mencap but are responsible for raising all of our own funds to enable us to continue to offer our services. We receive no statutory funding.
