Volunteering for us
Here at Braintree Mencap we rely heavily on the support of our volunteers to continue the smooth running of our organisation. So whether it’s on a casual basis a few times a year or weekly within our sessions all help is gratefully received.
Volunteering is a great opportunity to give something back to your local community and offers the chance to meet new people and learn new skills. It can be an incredibly rewarding experience, a great confidence booster and a fantastic addition to your CV!
Here at Braintree Mencap we have multiple fun, exciting and fast paced opportunities available within a variety of classes and sessions.
- Mini Bus Drivers
- Cooking (no experience necessary!)
- Social Club assistants
- Art cafe
And much more! Subject to a clear DBS and satisfactory references we are able to take volunteers from the age of 16. All support is thoroughly appreciated so whether you can spare a couple of hours a week or a couple of days a month please feel free to contact Emma for more information at –
firstname.lastname@example.org – alternatively you can complete the form on the bottom of this page.
Please use this form to share your interest in volunteering with us and some will be in touch.
