We would like to extend our grateful thanks to the following people/businesses for their much appreciated support throughout 2021:

Legacy Donation – from the estate of Mr Kevin Chapple who we received the sum of £1000 – Kevin was a member of Crix Green Church and was a great supporter of Braintree District Mencap.

In memory of Mr Malcom Allard – a donation of £165 was received, Malcolm was a long standing Vice President of Braintree District Mencap.

In recognition of the 80th Birthday of our Chairman, Janet Brown a donation of £80 was received from Jeanette, John and Ian Baines.

Our wonderful housekeeper, Suzanne Pearce, knitted some beautiful poppies which were sold and raised the sum of £75

We are extremely grateful to the Tanner and Baines Families for their recent donations towards our Keep Us Wam and Carrying on appeal (you will be able to track the progress of this appeal by taking a look at our Money Pot board in the front hallway of Charles Leeks House)

Our Grateful thanks must go to Mitchell Darkins who once again organised a Charity Golf Day back in October with a profit of £777.71 being raised for our funds.

Our thanks also to our trustee, Alan Reeder who generously donated £100 towards prizes for the raffle on the evening. We really do appreciate all the hard work and effort that is put into organising an event such as this.
