Want to learn more about leisure opportunities available to people with a learning disability in the Braintree District?

Our Advocacy Group recently researched what leisure opportunities are available for people of all ages and abilities in the Braintree District. They were surprised by how much is out there and are keen to share this information with other people with a learning disability, their parents and carers.

They have organised an event on Saturday 30th April at Charles Leeks House from 10.30-2pm, whereby a wide variety of leisure providers will be able to give out information and offer demonstrations of what is available within the local community.

Leisure is not just football and hockey! There is so much more and it is suitable for people of all abilities!

Admission is free and lunch will be provided, so come along to what promises to be a fun, informative morning!
